The only custom component involved is one added specifically to block telemetry, but the original Windows files remain untouched. It’s fully open source.

the project's goals before this was to offer a minimal installation, sacrificing security in the process. since our project took a large increase in users, Atlas is now more secure than regular windows OOB.
The long awaited overhaul v0.5 release of AtlasOS will be happening live, October 19th in our Discord server!
