Baththa belies the usual gangster tropes - the narrative is surprising, moving, deeply emotional & funny. @VijaySethuOffl is fabulous but the find is child artist Sai Prithiviraj who matches him. Dir Balaji Tharaneetharan tells the story with sensitivity & affection! Do watch

#BaththaReview: Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Prithviraj bring warmth and humour to Balaji Tharaneetharan’s period drama about an unlikely friendship and redemption. Despite a few narrative inconsistencies, the film finds its strength in an engaging central relationship and a terrific lead performance, writes Rohit Panikker. Rating: 4/5 #VijaySethupathi #Baththa

A 90-year-old man’s last theatre experience was #Mudhalvan 📽️ On his birthday, he watched #Baththa and felt heartful❤️ Truly #Baththa is a blockbuster beyond numbers💯

@Atlee_dir This film will easily work out on all the centres in India. So you can release the film in northern states too. The film should reach widely especially for the little boy Sai’s performance👏 More accolades on your way @Atlee_dir

#Baththa - honestly, this one stayed with me. ❤️

Baththa isn’t one of those usual films you watch and move on from. It stays with you for a while.

Big congratulations to #BalajiTharaneetharan for making such a beautiful film. ❤️

@VijaySethuOffl na is so effortless as always in every frame and little kid Sai is just fantastic. Loved their combination.
Very fresh cast that worked wonderfully.

The music by @SaiAbhyankkar was really beautiful and added so much to the film.

Big shoutout to @Atlee_dir & @priyaatlee for believing in this film and backing it. And congratulations to @MuradKhetani and the entire team.

#Baththa – A beautiful movie ❤️ with a good story, humanity, excellent humour, and moments that deserve applause throughout.

Very good casting and performances, and every close-up of every face is just superb.

Best-quality & soulful performance by @VijaySethuOffl . The little boy #SaiPrithivRaj deserves a National Award.

@jose_lijomol is so natural and graceful.

@SaiAbhyankkar ‘s background score is fresh and unconventional, and it lifts some scenes to another level.

So many touching moments filled with innocence and emotion.

Congratulations to producers @Atlee_dir, @priyaatlee for producing such a quality blockbuster.
@MuradKhetani #AlokJain @AndhareAjit
