@LodiNation No and that’s due to all the bullshit that was going on amongst them poaching our academy players.
Agreed though. We’re a top ten club in the world now and need to behave like one.
@LodiNation I'm proud of where we've come though. A few years ago, Gil Marín would've already sold Julían for €100m and called it a day.
Barca/madrid are always going to come knocking for our quality players unfortunately. It's an ego/pride thing for them too.
@HashimiATM It sucks but I think I would.
If he’s not going to sign an extension or we’re getting a less motivated Julían, might as well make a ton of money off him. You can go all in for Lautaro Martinez or Victor Osimhen as a replacement and then use the remainder to bolster the squad.
@SaintKeeks1 Margins are going to be so fine this transfer window too with only a €80m budget.
Accepting less than €30m for Sørloth and then turning around and shelling out ~€30m for Nico is a massive mistake and a horrible way to start the summer.
Would actually be fine with this.
Only if he’s played as a RM/RW.
We didn’t really get to see a lot of Nico in this position and would be nice to get a free trial of it just to see.
🚨💣 ÚLTIMA HORA: No se descarta que Nico González vuelva al Atlético de Madrid como CEDIDO.
Todo acordado entre el jugador y el Atlético de Madrid.
Las operaciones Nico/Sørloth son independientes.
@marqoss
This is all trending towards Atleti getting fleeced.
Nico needs to go back to Italy and if they can’t get the €30-€35m for Sørloth, offer him to another club.
🚨🇳🇴 Atlético Madrid are seeking more than €30/35m for Alexander Sørloth, meanwhile Juventus are aiming to complete the deal for UNDER €30m.
Nico González could become a key bargaining chip in the negotiations and a discount from Juventus could help unlock a deal.
Alexander Sørloth has already reached an agreement with Juventus on personal terms for a contract running until 2029, worth €4m per year.
@Gazzetta_it
In collaboration with @LodiNation, making two changes.
Swap Muriqi for Tresoldi (+€25m)and Robin Le Normand for Javi Rodriquez(-€20m). Roughly the same net spend.
@LodiNation I’m holding out hope for Baena.
No one expected Griezmann to have the year he did, which “unfortunately” took minutes and space away from Baena.
Barrios’ injuries didn’t help either. Baena looked so much better with Barrios playing.
@LodiNation Oh yeah you’re totally right about RLN.
Maybe swap in RLN for one of Reis and Rodriguez and go for Tresoldi instead of Muriqi.
I like Cuti, but I just don’t think we’ll have enough € for him and Cucurella.
@LodiNation If Josema/Lenglet leave and one of Hancko/Pubill gets hurt, we’re screwed. Defensive depth was a problem last year.
Muriqi is a band aid for sure and I expect Baena to step up and be the Grizi “replacement”
I’m with you though, the above is operating within the €80m budget.
