@tobyasky Tactically it is lazy from Kane, England have clearly been told 2 on Messi. Anderson has to come pressure Messi cause Kane holds position while marking no one, Anderson pressures Messi leaving Enzo completely unmarked.
If Kane moves literally 5 yards Anderson holds position.
@weeramborossa Not enough is said about the turnaround in output at the end of the season. A team who struggled to create for large parts of the season then struggled to finish them in other's, scoring 26 goals in 7 games seemed just as unlikely as winning the remaining fixtures
@InchOrInfinity Agreed, with the amount of safe planned World Cup fanzones planned for June outwith standard licensing hours and the fan areas at the last Euros it shows its entirely possible to have a safe event in line with the council and city standards. I dont know what the blocker is.
@STVFootballShow Do you think McInnes tactically hedged his bets too much?
In the prev 3 games they played 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2 and came away with 2 wins and a draw being positive.
The 3 at the back, defensive and playing for time hasnt worked all split (went behind to Hibs and Ran, drew with Well)
So on everything else that happened yesterdayโฆ..
I absolutely understand the elation and emotion about the third goal and even the way it was scored.
It was always going to spark bedlam and as a passionate football fan myself you can understand why some folk jumped on to the track as part of the celebrations, same as what happened at Motherwell during the week. It happens.
What shouldnโt happen though, with the game not even finished, is that a good number of those fans then went much, much further.
Invading all over the pitch, confronting and goading the Hearts players and making it impossible for the game to resume.
I think we can all agree it of course made zero difference to the outcome of the game, the whistle would have been blown as soon as Hearts kicked off again but you cannot have fans deciding when a game is over.
The Hearts players should not have been put in that position and it was a really sorry end to what was a tremendous game to finish an incredible title race.
The SPFL will I am sure take a very dim view of what happened, particularly if Don Robertson confirms that he had not blown the full time whistle.
More to come on this over the next few days I think.
@rangersrabble "Barring some shocking decisions over the last few weeks they would be Champions"
Is 2 away wins in 2026 maybe not more the issue? 8 points out of 18?
@TheRefsView So to play devil's advocate to your post, assuming the VAR have indeed intervened when the error wasn't clear or obvious.
Was the correct decision reached at the screen? Your post seems to point to the issue being Dallas' intervention not Beatons decision?
@InchOrInfinity There are some very very real stories which I think makes it worse to get your head around.
Some of the patients stories are rough to get through ๐ญ
