Scientists are decoding clouds from space, improving weather and climate predictions using NCAS’s research aircraft and the EarthCARE satellite. The VERIFY project will calibrate the satellite, which is looking at how clouds, aerosols and solar radiation interact to affect the Earth’s atmosphere.
