@ToddFuhrman Isn’t this a natural byproduct of the hydration breaks? Take out 3 mins of action in the middle and tack it on by default at the end (instead of stopping the clock) some of these 90+1 goals would’ve been in the 80s if action stayed the same to prior years
@NHLJackManning@Duck__Knight The problem with this, if they have 1 bad regular season, it’s likely with 3-4 more following and their window is shut. Wouldn’t resign Stone or Karlsson, all of your core is on the wrong side of 30. It goes south quickly and even as good as GMKM and crew are, they aren’t magic
@ByronMBader Did anyone like this in the “middle” change with the new model? Looks to be an NHLer but not a star, wondering if anyone went to no longer looking like a full time NHL player or new star
@MoneyPuckdotcom curious on the model, how is Marner’s 2nd goal in tight only worth .04 xG? Seems like a much more dangerous chance there with zero defenders in front and point blank range
In NHL history, there have been 29 instances of a team trailing in the 3rd period in each of the first 5 games of a playoff series.
Of those 29 teams, 28 were behind in the series or had already lost the series after 5 games.
The lone exception is this year's @GoldenKnights.
@allinkid will be happy to hear our fantasy football home league just followed through on the #BanKickers movement, removing a kicker slot from fantasy next year replaced with a Util slot. Was a close vote 7-5 in favor!
@TheRedStripesSG@fontoberries This would be a lot easier if they used an optimal lineup order. Harper should be batting leadoff (like Ohtani, Acuna, etc) and have Turner/Schwarber behind. You don’t have to manufacture lineup protection when he bats 3rd behind your two other top hitters, you already have it
From earlier with the play with 3 turnovers....
FROM ELIAS: Since 1978, no player before Jalen Hurts tonight committed two turnovers on one play. #MNFInsights
