Celebrating Innovation at the National AI Hackathon '26!
Huge congratulations to the brilliant minds and champions of the National AI Hackathon '26 Islamabad Regional Rounds, hosted at FAST NUCES, Islamabad and powered by atomcamp! From auditing electricity bills to fixing educational gaps and reshaping tourism, these teams built cutting-edge multi-agent systems to solve complex real-world problems.
Here is a breakdown of the incredible winning projects:
1st Position: Team Runtime Terror
Project: Bijli AI
Members: Hamna Bilal, Omamah Masood, Kiran Vijay
The Innovation: A multi-agent system designed to audit Pakistani electricity bills against NEPRA's official regulations and translate them into simple, understandable language. The system utilizes three specialized AI agents to extract data with Google Vision, cross-examine it for irregularities, and automatically draft an email-ready formal complaint to send to NEPRA or respective DISCOs. Tech Stack: Built with Claude Code and AntiGravity.
2nd Position: Team Costello's Crew
Project: EduGap
Members: Ibtasaam Amjad, Rayyan Ahmad, Abdullah Aamir
The Innovation: Addressing the critical mismatch between curriculum teachings and real-world market demands. This project scrapes job markets and course curriculums, leveraging a gap analyzer agent to cross-reference two RAG databases. A Socratic tutor agent then converts these findings into actionable insights for users to bridge their skill gaps smoothly.
3rd Position: Team Jarvis
Project: Sky Elite
Members: Muhammad Ahmad Abbas, Muhammad Hassaan ul Mustafa, Muhammad Abdullah
The Innovation: A project aimed at tackling overpriced and unpersonalized trip planning from traditional travel agencies. Sky Elite uses multiple AI agents to craft highly personalized travel experiences based on tens of parameters, including budget constraints, passport value, local security, landscapes, and food preferences. Tech Stack: Built using Claude Code and Codex.
