@cleansanchez123@TRKite@pinkpiplip@yogeshtwet Ironic.. so like how ice agents should take accountability for tear-gassing a child rather than trying to blame the child or parents for simply existing in public space?

My kids were called the N word in 2017.
I was called the N word and refugee a week prior.
My daughter saw me get hit with a bottle at a rally for holding a sign and then I was arrested for talking shit. The police body cam didn’t match the incident and Danielson court dropped the charges.
My oldest went out with her friends and a drunk man pulled a gun on them over getting rejected.
I’m sorry your kids saw a t-shirt.
if the same men that praised Superman for being "a good role model of positive masculinity for men" hate on Supergirl for also opposing an oppressive system, it's gonna show you how some men only admires him for his masculinity and powers and not his ideals.
Sometimes male anger at “women getting special treatment” reminds me of a gorilla experiment. One gorilla gets a banana every hour. The females next to him get one every four hours. Then someone decides to be fairer and gives the females a banana every two hours instead. The original gorilla? He flips out. He's still getting his banana every hour, but it feels like a loss because his advantage shrank. That's how a lot of men react to basic fairness for women: not as justice, but as theft.
