@Atomic_Kittenz Big partnership announcement coming soonβ’. It is with a duck. You already know the duck. The duck is not excited but we are. $MELON π¦
No offense, and I much prefer building to pointless drama, these guys over engineered their project straight from the gate. The biggest problem with a limited understanding of code is having to rely on others tech stack.
Since arriving at Cosmos to build, I've developed a functioning Multi TLD Registry with a browser extension and search page both to actually build and use a domain. My complete website is HTML and JS, without a backend server that isn't needed.
I didn't care for the Cosmos CDN for tx signing because it's heavy so I wrote a ProtoWriter super lightweight that functions perfectly. I open sourced it to benefit the Cosmos Ecosystem, too.
I made registering the .atom domain free +gas fee's which btw, all of my builds are directly on the Hub and all gas fee's are in ATOM, too so it benefits Cosmos. I mean come on, if a builder is using a stack, they should want the community to thrive and prosper.
I built an onchain web storage contract that is successfully storing decent HTML websites onchain and yeah, I'm smart but AKASH could have done it, too to run the governance and management end of their project.
Oh, and I financed it all myself without launching a token.
Blockchain isn't static and by design, never will be, Cosmos, like all chains, evolve and mature, and hopefully find their identity.
This project publicly criticizing Cosmos for seeking that identity and monetizing parts of their stack reminds me of a kid going to work and throwing a fit when their parents want them to kick in a little on upkeep.
Shitting on those that contribute to one's very existence says absolutely nothing about the contributors but speaks volumes about the people who are throwing a tantrum about finally having to pay to wipe their own ass.
Just sayin'.
