YouTube has actually scammed me.

I used the YouTube Creator Music program, where you were able to buy licenses for music for use in videos. Earlier this month, they phased out this program, with the promise that existing licenses will not be affected.

Spoiler: they were.

It is in zero way similar to that commissioned role. "Dictator" in that old mod was more like the first iteration of Mayor in Town of Us, otherwise known as President in mods like TOU Suzyfowy.

But one person is looking into getting the mod (and Among Us mods in general) running Bepinex Fusion under iOS. There's also someone else experimenting with Switch Among Us, so there's that.
No idea when either of those will be ready for public adoption tho.

@BluebriarArts Oh I'd like to add some other info to this thread, since i was discussing with some other modders in the AOU server, I believe the SSundee among us videos from 2024 onwards use a clone of among us made from the ground up, probably because of innerscuff code and patches.

@BluebriarArts -private release. Submerged is another example, as it was commissioned by 5up for about 40k iirc and was for streamers and then released standalone for the community. I can't give an estimate on how well they were paid but judging from my experience, probably a minimum of 2.5k.
