Kushner and Witkoff press conference in Kyiv was a complete disaster. They have zero understanding of what they are doing.
They dedicated a large portion of it to convincing Ukrainians, in an extremely patronizing tone, that peace is good for us. Like, yeah???
One of the lowest points in American history.
Two grifting scumbags, representing financial interests of the US President, groveling before a mass murdering dictator that's currently helping Iran murder Americans and waging war against every American ally that's fought alongside the US, all for promises of lucrative business deals that Putin will never give them.
Now 🇷🇺 is striking the airports of Kyiv 🇺🇦. Could it be that they want to scare 🇺🇸 envoys Wittkoff and Kuchner away from going there? They are in Moscow 🇷🇺 at the moment. https://t.co/Egz69SUpCc
This is Marta Kostyuk from Kyiv telling you how her family survives the war.
The official US Open channel avoided posting this. Please share this video so a Ukrainian voice can be heard. 🇺🇦🙏
Anyone who has watched with their own eyes as Russia systematically destroyed Ukrainian supermarkets, warehouses, power plants, heating facilities, hospitals, shopping malls, and apartment buildings since 2022, killing thousands of people --and then, when Ukraine began systematically striking back YEARS LATER, continued calling Russia’s criminal and deadly attacks "RETALIATORY STRIKES" -- is either a complete idiot or an outright disinformation agent and Kremlin collaborator.
The attack on Kyiv and the region has now been ongoing for almost 53 hours.
During this time, air raid sirens sounded 25 times in the capital.
All European leaders seem to be on vacation.
This is how my Friday looked in Kyiv: Russia launched waves of jet-powered drones every other hour, paralyzing the city for hours. The metro stopped running to the other side of the river, large supermarkets closed, and I ended up stuck in a huge traffic jam with air defence working overhead.
The smoke on the horizon by the time I finally got home was from a warehouse hit by a Russian drones. Tens of thousands of books from Ukrainian publishers burned inside.
Russia has tried this before. It didn’t work then, and it won’t work now.
The CIA Director flies to Moscow, and panic spreads like wildfire: are the Baltic states facing an imminent attack?
Fear is contagious.
Don’t let it distract us from what matters most right now: supporting Ukraine. Because the outcome of that war will shape Europe’s future.
As for our security: panic is the last thing we need. We’ve got things firmly under control. Russia remains the most serious strategic threat to European security and continues its dangerous and irresponsible provocations across the continent. But there is currently no imminent threat of an armed attack against a NATO country.
And let there be no misunderstanding: if tested, we are ready to pass the test — and defend our security with the collective might of our Alliance.
I spoke to several intel sources about Ratcliffe's trip, from different countries. (Allies have been briefed.) The line I'm getting is that two things were discussed: ending the war in Ukraine and warning against further "hybrid" attacks on NATO. There was no a great sense of urgency attached to the meeting, which has sparked a lot of curiosity (to put it mildly) that surely more must have been on the agenda. None of the sources emphasized the Baltics were the main threat vector, but given prior attacks there I'd imagine they were encompassed in any broader conversation.
This is what Kindrashivka in Kharkiv region looks like right now. Russians leveled the settlement erasing all life. Look carefully and you will see what "russian world" truly is.
This image helps explain what happened along the Nepal–Tibet border. According to reports, a magnitude 4.4 earthquake on the Tibetan side triggered a massive ice avalanche, which then led to the flash flooding of the Bhotekoshi River in Nepal. Around 1,000 people are missing, and many have been killed.
35 years ago today, 🇫🇮 Foreign Minister sent a telefax to Tallinn proposing the re-establishment of 🇪🇪–🇫🇮 diplomatic relations.
Three days later, Estonia replied: agreed.
The rest is history.
Proud to present President Stubb with copies of those two historic documents today.
A father breaks down in tears upon learning that his son was found dead beneath the rubble of a multi-story residential building destroyed by a russian strike in Kyiv.
Thirty-five years ago, Ukraine restored its independence!
Happy holiday, great people of a great country!
Happy Independence Day of Ukraine!
Glory to Ukraine!

87 years ago on this day, the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, a.k.a. the Hitler–Stalin Pact, was much more a Soviet-Nazi treaty of common aggression against Europe than the declared “treaty of non-aggression.” On 23 August 1939, the Third Reich and the USSR officially agreed to start WWII. #CorrectingWrongHistoricalLabels
