Also, ask them if they have a preferred payment method. You may hate cash but card charges can really add up in business. Don't be surprised if a shop doesn't take card payment or has a minimum spend. Carry *some* cash for small items if possible.
If you want to support small businesses this year (Please, please do!). I'm begging you, don't just impulse buy a ton of stuff with the attitude of "I'll just get a refund on the stuff I don't want!". Ask what the returns policy is for each shop.
Shops are under no legal obligation to refund you because you changed your mind. Faulty item? Totally. You asked for something that does X and were sold something that doesn't? You can get a refund.
This is working though. Lost tons of weight from him doing this. Asking if I actually need pudding after dinner etc. He's worried about me getting Covid and with me lugging extra weight. Silly man but he cares.
Was going to make oat biscuits. TG came in the kitchen, raised an eyebrow and asked what I was doing. Told him, asked if I should bake them, he shrugged and left. I put the ingredients back.

I'm baking sweet junk all day tomorrow. I'm having a coconut scented bubble bath, smoking a cigar with a damn fine brandy. I'm going to have pizza for dinner, boink a red head and have a long lie Sunday.
I have had a Very Bad Week. Let's just say I've treated people for physical injuries, filled out incident reports and had verbal abuse up the wazoo. It's just too much, all at once. I'm making selfish plans for myself this weekend.
My Father to me on the phone, "Well, you always have been an incredibly strong freak of a female. You dragged the furniture around the room at 2 years old."
