So apparently Twitch is now using AI to transcripe and classify streams for advertiser friendliness.

Can't say I am surprised, but I wonder to what extend, besides the normal content classification, they tag streams? Is it for one stream only or on an account level?

Any insights or way to see how a stream has been classified?

CEO Dan Clancy says Twitch now uses AI to identify streamers that may not match a brand, since it now transcribes all streams for brand safety.

It won't show ads on channels or content the AI believes don't match what the advertiser is trying to achieve.

Communication is key. I like to imagine it as standing in a line waiting to get in somewhere. I would prefer to stand in a queue where I can feel it moving compared to one where I just stand still waiting, even though we might get to the goal at the same time.
A small update once in a while is great, even if it's just to say that the work haven't started yet or have been delayed because of something, atleast I then know that I haven't been forgotten.

This would never work in the real world. Main part of a tech CEOs job is to annoy the developers with questions, directions and buzzwords they heard about at the last industry event or read about on LinkedIn.
LLMs are already at a point where they are too good at doing their own research to accurately mimic the CEO role.
Where I do see an advantage to using an LLM as a CEO is the false confidence it has in itself, even when making wrong decisions or hallucinating.

@kibawoo Herman miller is just super expensive, but they last a long time. I think they come with 12 years of warranty when you buy them new, dont know how much when bought refurbished though.

I have seen them do 25% off sales a few times.

I might wait a bit with pulling the trigger on a new VR headset until valve releases this new, best in class headset! I am sure it will release way sooner than anyone expects and will be bundled with half life 3!
