Vegapunk looked directly into the screen and said "The political themes of One Piece is that there are good people in broken systems and being on the wrong side of History doesn't make you evil." and ya'll just ignored that.
Why the fuck is Garp working for the slave owning human hunting world government if he can press an ADMIRAL like this man if you don’t take that old man strength to Mariejois you fuckin bum
@MagvellianDrago I do have some major wins in the broader WTX region and I've beaten everyone in my city at least once. I just need to stop being a wuss and travel more 🤣
@CrosseteMayne Dang choosing between Fates story quality and RD Supports feels impossible.
I guess I'll choose Fates and hope the game has 'base' conversations to elaborate
Did you know? If you get a dogshit levelup in Fire Emblem it's actually because of your personal moral failings as a human being. All nintendo consoles have a miniature reproduction of anubis's scale and if your spirit is deemed impure all you're getting is hp and skill
@olivecider776 The real based take is admitting that both do different things well and represent both sides of the Fire Emblem spectrum in their most platonic forms.
War Chronicle - Anime Camp
While I agree can we please ditch the Trite narrative that FE by in large has bad storytelling. Its not shakespeare but yall treat every game like it has Fates writing.
I know it’s a common thing people say that “Fire Emblem has never had good stories” but honestly I think that’s fine because while the macro story is generally simple, the micro story (who you deploy, supports, who beats the boss, etc) determined by RNG is always engaging.
@PurpleColonelSP The series is text dense in comparison to like Mario or most other 1st and 2nd party Nintendo Franchises, but its not like Shakespeare.
Also modern FE does still have a bite to it, it just offers to accessibility to file that bite down if you want.
