📍 Stress Fractures: My Clinical Principles and Experience in Surgical Management
🕗 8pm–9pm (UTC)
@DrAdamBitterman I had the same issue with Walmart pharmacy. They even told the patient your doctor doesn’t have a license when I’m licensed in 3 states! Then I called and gave them my license number and still they did not dispense it. I stopped sending any postop meds to them altogether. Solved
@traumaticum Haven’t done this before but may be we can borrow a page from talar shoulder OCD management. I would take down the ATFL, plantarflex, varus and translate the talus forward as much as you can. If that doesn’t get you enough access, go for the osteotomy
@sportsdoc2016@InvictaOrtho@generalorthomd@traumaticum This is a tough one especially with questionable wounds. Take back to OR, wash, exchange a couple screws to 4 cortices (ladder construct), wound vac and total contact cast. Optimize glycemic control and absolute non weight bearing. I’d bring up that there is an amputation risk.
@TPP_MD I recently learned that shifting your sense of shame into guilt can be helpful. Shame makes you feel incompetent because you made a mistake and it’s about you. Guilt is about others and is situation specific. It doesn’t erode your confidence and makes you wanna make things right
@BostonFootAnkle Open BG with knotless anchors. If varus, big athlete (other than soccer), poor tissues, and/or revision then will add an internal brace.
@ampullaofv8r 100% will send it. I have full text for all my papers stored on research gate and it literally takes less than a minute to share it. Ask for whatever paper you need, that’s the whole point we write papers!
@residencyreview Please speak to your attending about this. It’s his/her job to make sure you have a non-toxic environment. Most scrub techs I worked with as a fellow were great. Some were passive aggressive for no reason. Try to not let it ruin your learning opportunity

After 2 years (6 semester) of hard work, finally PGDip ClinEd with merit from @EdClinEd! It was an immensely challenging yet rewarding experience. The discussions, reading material, and assignments opened my eyes to a whole new perspective. Highly recommended
