This is my account on on the other app. Going to stick with Twitter mainly for now, but just wanted to put it out there because it seems like a lot of people are moving over.
@Tratnikstan Also the second time this year when the team backed Onley at his expense after Paris-Nice. And I’m sure part of why he signed with Ineos was co-leadership guarantees in races like this. Don’t think the team was wrong either time, but that’s the risk of multi-leader approaches.
@InsideOut2912 Especially when the team had its most wins ever and one of its best seasons ever last year. They didn’t even give him a chance to succeed with a greatly increased budget.
@MigClass It’s interesting how the dominant fan narrative has changed. People used to think LHW of that era was way deeper than it was because they overvalued washed Pride guys. Now the average fan seems totally uninterested in anything but the modern UFC and convinced that it’s superior.
@BenjiNaesen Jonas currently has 161 KOM points. Stage 19 offers 162. Ciccone can absolutely still win, especially if Visma doesn’t catch the break before Passo Giau.
Really mature ride from Hagenes in Antwerp Port Epic. Super nice to see him get a win after taking a massive leap this year, and he’s clearly learned from mistakes he made in races like Denain. Such a good rider.

Ciccone and Milesi look like they’re about to have an aneurysm because a bunch of riders who can’t climb aren’t cooperating fully on a unipuerto stage. I love the Giro.
