Could be that some income generating assets are held in a tax haven national and thus that income wouldn’t be taxed in India or uk. In fact due to domiciled status it wouldn’t be taxed anywhere

@BlackguardBob @dabornfox Just to be clear you’ve got your maths wrong. The IFR is expressed as a %age of 100,000 per year by PHE. You suggest that it means something else& thusyou incorrectly conclude that excess deaths since the pandemic start is substantially lower than 170k
