📡 How can blockchain + IoT revolutionize EMF compliance?

@Staex_io is on a mission to simplify how cell towers prove their compliance with EMF radiation regulations using Polkadot 🙌

With their DF Grant, they’re automating the entire process to be more efficient. Here’s how ⬇️

The Problem: certifying cell towers for EMF regulations can be a slow and costly process, requiring manual measurements, specialized equipment, and can be prone to errors.

The Solution: Staex has come up with a way to use EMF sensors on cell towers to log radiation measurements directly on-chain for secure, automated certification:

🔹 EMF sensors continuously measure radiation levels
🔹 A small computer sends data to the blockchain via ink! smart contract
🔹 The system issues certifications based on the data, ensuring compliance

In this way, cell tower operators save costs by automating compliance checks, regulators get transparent + tamper-proof certification data, and the public gains access to compliance info. Win-win-win ✅

Upcoming project milestones are implementation of ink! smart contracts, development of a web interface for the public and companies to view cell towers compliance status, and end-to-end testing. Looking further forward, Staex plans to scale this solution with partnerships across Europe.
