The heaviest burden isn’t the sacrifice itself—it’s realizing you made it for the wrong people….(Family, friends, Spouses, Partners etc)
For those who don’t see it. For those who feel entitled to it. For those who convince themselves that your giving was simply because you wanted to, not because they needed you to…or worse, because they never even asked. 🤔
I’ve come to understand something painfully clear: in this life, you have two choices when it comes to sacrifice.
You either give freely, expecting nothing in return…not even acknowledgment…and make peace with that emptiness. Or you save your devotion for those who truly deserve it. The ones who see your quiet labors. The ones who don’t take your silence as indifference, or your presence as permission. The ones who know that love without gratitude is just exhaustion dressed in good intentions.
Because here’s the truth: not every hand you hold will hold you back. Not every back you cover will cover yours. And not every person you pour into will remember that you once filled their cup when yours was running dry.
So choose carefully. Not everyone deserves the version of you that gives until it hurts. Save that for the ones who prove…not with words, but with consistency…that they are worthy of your peace. ✌🏼

MOVE ON :
1. Letting go hurts... but sometimes holding on hinders. You can't make anybody love you. Maybe it's time to MOVE ON.
2. Once you realize it's not REAL, you really need to MOVE ON.
3. Just because people can't let go of your past mistakes doesn't mean you have to hold on to them. No reason for everyone to be stuck. MOVE ON.
4. Perhaps the reason why they're trying to BELITTLE you is because they're mad you're OUTGROWING them. What do you do? MOVE ON!
5. The longer you go without it... the less you care about it. Let go and MOVE ON.
6. There comes a time when you have to decide not to fight the same battles with the same people. Demand that they grow up or MOVE ON.
7. Stop expecting people who did you bad to feel bad about what they did. Forgive them and MOVE ON.
8. Hesitation is a fancy word for fear. Hesitation causes you to play it safe. Make a decision and MOVE ON.
9. Some people are not able to MOVE ON with their life because they are stuck in a moment that no longer exist!
10. You don't need boxes and a truck to MOVE ON, you just have to pack up your feelings.
No matter how rich you are individually as a Nigerian, we are all collectively poor. Very poor.
You only realize this during emergencies. A fire breaks out and there is no fire service. An accident happens and there is no first aid, no ambulance, no system.
Today, a world boxing champion like Anthony Joshua was involved in a car accident and not a single ambulance showed up. Someone that rich and globally known. People only gathered around him like it was a carnival. No safety measures. No trained response. Just chaos.
An accident that claimed two lives o!
Last month, an aide to a sitting governor was stabbed at a political event.. Somebody lifted him on his shoulder ! Such a gory sight!
Still no ambulance
Not even for a governor’s aide.
That is real poverty.
In Nigeria, money does not save you in a crisis. Influence does not protect you. When it matters most, everyone is poor.
To the rich and influential Nigerian who thinks demanding a better country is for the poor masses, one day you will understand. In an emergency, you are just as poor as the rest of us.
Nigeria is poor.
Poor poor.
RIP to the dead and wishing Anthony Joshua quick recovery.

Pastors who do things like this only attract ridicule and mockery to themselves.
Making such “prayers” about a useless football game, will only set you up as a laughingstock when the ‘prayer’ fails as it has clearly done in this regard.
It is irreverent to turn a church into a comedy arena for granting football wishes and present God like a genie that decides outcomes of football games. In the end, doing things like this only makes Christianity look like a circus performance of delusional clowns.
God is not a football punter. Let’s leave him out of such ephemeral ridiculousness. I say this with very huge due respect. I really love PJ but this was so heartbreaking to watch.
My own take on this matter will always be simple avoid people who rush to social media to sub others or tell the world everything they were told in confidence once there’s a fallout. Once someone starts exposing things that were shared in confidence, that’s all the red flag you need. And if you see them do it to their former “friends” yet still go ahead to befriend them, convincing yourself you’ll be the exception
just wait. When your turn comes, they’ll do it to you too. Avoid messy people as much as possible
