I always believed Six Flags selling off some parks would be a net positive for all involved, but something about this gives me a sour feeling.
What has EPR done with Darien Lake and Frontier City in the time they’ve owned them?
That track record does not inspire confidence.
🚨BREAKING🚨: Six Flags has officially announced the sale of 7 parks to EPR Properties.
- Valleyfair
- Worlds of Fun
- Michigan’s Adventure
- Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston
- Six Flags St. Louis
- Six Flags Great Escape
- Six Flags La Ronde
Universal will have closed two Fast and Furious rides and built from the ground up two brand new ones in the time it’s taken them to make this film lol
@JamesKoolest1 Sure, in the short term. If it means Animation Courtyard is here for another 7-10 years and not replaced with something noteworthy then it is absolutely a net negative.
@DrSayre Been very busy these past few weeks unfortunately. Got a lot to say about Epic tho so excited to hit the ground running when the smoke clears!
New Disney Attraction Cycle
- Announce replacement of something beloved
- Release concept art that looks like absolute garbanzo beans
- Issue a revised concept that actually looks pretty neat
- Final product somehow comes out worse than both concepts
Will history repeat itself?
Wild to think just a few years ago Wimpy’s would be the Toon Lagoon restaurant closing seasonally. Cat’s out of the bag who the goat is.
What a time to be alive as a Wimpy’s believer!
Well folks, an hour and a half into Epic Universe opening day and I’ve ridden everything without express except for BatM.
Safe to say all of those crowd experts crying wolf about several hours long lines throughout the park are eating crow right about now.
The race to replace Rip-Ride Rockit might be one of the craziest we’ve ever seen.
F&F - Coaster coming to USH
Ghostbusters - Entrance at firehouse facade
BTTF - Coaster possibly coming to the UK
Beetlejuice & Twisters - New films in the works
Place your bets folks.
@JohnTheMon2 I’m going opening day! I’ve avoided spoilers for rides for years in the past so a month and a half here should be a piece of cake. The bigger hurdle is gonna be the crowds 😬
NEW (and not a joke): Disney's Typhoon Lagoon *AND* Disney's Blizzard Beach will both be open this summer from May 21 through Sept. 7.
This will mark the first time since 2019 that Walt Disney World will operate both of its water parks simultaneously.
@Curious_Harpy I enjoy it, but I never really go out of my way to see it. Still probably the best sit-down show at Universal Orlando right now though so I’d rather it stay for awhile
