It's official! Universal United Kingdom Resort has today been announced as the name for Universal's UK theme park resort in Bedford.

New for 2026 at Särkänniemi in Finland is Konect - one of the tallest and longest family coasters that Vekoma have ever built! The ride covers a large area and skims along the shoreline of Lake Näsijärvi, providing some fantastic views. Check out our front seat POV below.

The certificate of lawfulness has today been granted for LEGOLAND Windsor’s proposed new coaster on the former site of Viking River Splash, believed to be a MACK Rides Family Spinning Coaster 🌀🥷

We’ve just experienced our first ride on Aviktas which we think is the most thrilling flat ride in the UK! There's no hanging around, with the ride building up speed and height very quickly. Aviktas provides the perfect mix of high thrills, G-forces and weightlessness.

The entrance to Aviktas features an impressive archway with the ride's name centred. The area is stylised, in a similar way to Icon, with black and gold décor throughout. Once the ride is in motion, a giant golden snake features within the pit below.

Before we experience Aviktas for the first time, the official opening ceremony is now underway. Managing Director & CEO Amanda Thompson OBE has taken to the stage to welcome guests and mark the occasion.
