@ChessingtonBuzz It’ll be interesting to see the effect this has on the rest of the park during construction. It’s a lot of capacity taken away at once!
The projected completion date of Kingda Ka’s demolition is quickly coming near (February 20th, 2025). And 2 days ago, it was believed that construction workers were seen rigging the top hat for demolition.
Long live the king! (2005-2024)🪦🎢

Euro-Mir is a classic Mack spinning coaster, opening in 1997.
The ride is set to be transformed in the near future, however not much is known about the project.
What do you think could happen to this ride in the future?
2024 has been the modern ‘Year of The Rollercoaster’ in the UK!
From the height record being broken, Nemesis opening and a brand new star of the show at Drayton Manor, history has repeated itself.
It may have taken 4 rides but we finally experienced both cycles on Gold Rush with our last ride.
Overall both experiences are fantastic, however dropping down the lift hill backwards really catches you off guard - even if you know it’s coming!
Drayton Manor are onto a winner!
It’s time for us to Brave The Wave for the first time, Drayton Manor’s other new attraction for 2024!
This coaster has seen a reimagining with the previous stand up train replaced with a sit down variant manufactured by ART Engineering.
A perfect fit for Drayton Manor, we’ve experienced Gold Rush for the first time. Travelling over the top of the lift initially, our first ride was full of surprises.
Featuring launches and directional changes, this family thrill coaster is fantastic fun! Cycle 2 later? 🤞
