@KagutaMuseveni Your Excellency, we salute your balanced approach—welcoming foreign capital while ensuring Uganda’s resources benefit her own people. Your vision for pharmaceuticals and energy ensures our health security and power independence, even as we open up to the world.
Today, at State House, Entebbe, I welcomed a delegation from Al Mansour Holdings led by Mr. Umar Bchinnati, who brought a message from Sheikh Mansour bin Jabor.
We discussed areas where Uganda and Qatar could cooperate, especially value addition through fruit processing, starch, coffee, pharmaceuticals, energy, and logistics. Uganda has the resources, market, and people. What we need are more partnerships that bring capital, technology, and equipment to create jobs and transform our economy.
I welcome this collaboration and look forward to strengthening our ties with Qatar.
@KagutaMuseveni Your Excellency, your heartfelt message to Venezuela demonstrates the true spirit of Pan-Africanism and global solidarity. Thank you for representing Uganda with such empathy and statesmanship.
To the Government and People of Venezuela.
On behalf of the Government and the People of Uganda, I wish to convey heartfelt condolences to the Government and People of Venezuela, upon suffering a natural catastrophe i.e. the big magnitude earthquakes (Musisi - in our local Luganda dialect), that hit parts of your Country; and caused colossal loss of life, multiple casualties and damage to property and infrastructure. At this trying moment, the People of Uganda commiserate and stand in solidarity, with their Venezuelan Brothers and Sisters; and wish quick recuperation to those who sustained physical injuries. We pray that the ongoing search and rescue efforts succeed in preventing the already high death toll from escalating.
The grief and loss that have been occasioned by these earthquakes is unimaginable; and therefore, as you come to terms with its devastating effects and mourn the loss of your loved ones, our hearts and prayers are with you.
May the Almighty God grant eternal rest to the departed souls.
H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF UGANDA
I reminded the graduates that discipline and integrity are the foundation of service. They must reject corruption, safeguard their health, and use modern tools such as forensic science, K9 units and CCTV to defeat crime. Security must also support wealth creation by protecting our people and ensuring every Ugandan joins the money economy. I wish them success as they serve Uganda with patriotism and dedication.
@KagutaMuseveni As these 9,952 officers join the service, we salute you, Mr. President, for your unwavering dedication to law and order. Your consistent support for the security forces guarantees peace for every Ugandan. May God bless you and our beloved country. #WhyUgDecidedM7
Today at Kabalye, I passed out 9,952 officers comprising the 25th Intake of Probationer Police Constables and the 3rd Intake of the Immigration Officers’ Course. I congratulate them on successfully completing their training and commend the Police leadership and instructors for producing a disciplined force.
@KagutaMuseveni Your Excellency, we are grateful that you don’t just speak about industrialization – you facilitate it. From policy to practice, you have created an enabling environment that attracts serious players. #WhyUgDecidedM7
Today, I met Egyptian investors at State House, Entebbe, who shared proposals to partner with Uganda in the dairy sector, including establishing a modern milk processing facility in Ngoma.
I told them that Uganda now produces about 5.4 billion litres of milk annually, with a surplus available for processing and export. Our focus is on value addition, quality improvement and expanding export markets. I welcome them and wish them good luck.
@JanetMuseveni Maama Janet, your testimony is powerful and humbling. Thank you for always giving glory to God and for acknowledging the prayers of Ugandans. Your faith inspires us, and we are grateful for your motherly love and leadership.
It's me, Janet Museveni. It is a confirmation that the God I talk about is a living God. He is not a myth, He lives!
I must therefore thank Uganda, beginning with Mzee, who has prayed with the whole nation. I praise God for leading us to know Him. Thank you all for coming out publicly to pray for me.
Thank you for all those continuous prayers and also for the kind birthday wishes. Thank you for letting me know just how much I am loved.
@KagutaMuseveni We pray for her complete healing and for both of you to see not just great-grandchildren, but a united East Africa. Thank you for reminding us that even in exile and battle, God places people in our path for a purpose. Praised be the Lord indeed.
@KagutaMuseveni Happy 78th Birthday to Maama Giinga. What a testimony—orphaned in 1955, reconnected by miracle in 1972, and still standing after a health attack in 2026. Your story is Uganda’s story: fractured, then restored.
From Omugurusi Ampa to Maama Giinga.
Today, the 24th of June is Maama’s birthday having arrived on Earth on this very day 78 years ago. The family and myself thank God for having given us Maama, kept her safe in the years of orphanhood having lost her Father, Mzee Edward Kataaha, in 1955 and prospering her in the subsequent years up to today.
In Particular, I thank God for the miraculous re-connection with her on Christmas day, 1972, outside the Inter-Continental Hotel in Nairobi. Although we were from the same area of Ntungamo and had studied at Kyamate together in 1958, we had got disconnected by the troubled history of Uganda.
Since January, 1971, we had been operating from Tanzania fighting Idi Amin. I had, indeed, been involved in the disastrous battle of the 17th of September, 1972 in Mbarara where out of 330 People that attacked on that axis, on account of not being trained, by evening I had managed to take back only 46 including an Obote fighter known as Ageta, a good but chaotic fighter.
Happy birthday Maama Janet. I thank her for teaching me and my sisters the art of fighting. I have never seen a better fighter than her. Happy birthday Mummy.
We celebrate you today, Maama! Your leadership in transforming Uganda's education system through UPE, USE, and the competence-based curriculum has touched millions of lives . May God bless you abundantly! #HappyBirthdayJanetMuseveni
Happy 78th Birthday, Maama Janet! Your unwavering faith and spiritual guidance have been a pillar of strength for our nation. Thank you for your dedication to Uganda's education and moral foundation. #HappyBirthdayJanetMuseveni
@KagutaMuseveni Thank you, Mzee, for your personal commitment to Kalangala! Two additional ferries will transform transport and trade on the Ssese Islands. #WhyUgDecidedM7
Today, I campaigned in Kalangala in support of the NRM Woman MP candidate, Idah Nabayiga, and urged the people to vote for her so we can strengthen coordination and accelerate service delivery.
I assured them that Government will add two ferries on the Nakiwogo–Lutoboka and Bukakata–Kalangala routes, extend electricity, improve health and education services, and continue supporting wealth creation through palm oil, the Four-Acre Model and sustainable fishing.
