Things that I believe are true 🧵 :
1. MUT cannot be eliminated from the MCS. The whole reason the MCS is funded by EA is it’s a marketing tool for Ultimate Team. There is no way MUT will be removed fully from the MCS while still being paid for by EA.
2. There is a desire to create consistency in the player base. This is why the Pro League was formed. Imagine watching the NFL, rooting for the Bills, and then the next 3 weeks the Bills aren’t playing. It’s hard to build storylines and rooting interest when the player base changes each week. Also, it saves money on the travel side because you can book everyone’s travel way in advance instead of having to wait until elims end a week before the live to book flights (this being an added benefit, not the reason for the change).
3. Clubs are probably never coming back. I know a lot of people loved it (I am one of those people) BUT it was a 3 month long, cost prohibitive tournament that only a third of NFL teams really bought into. NFL teams want fandom and people to buy their merch and tickets. Holding a tournament where players openly didn’t root for teams they were competing to represent because the bracket looked sweet wasn’t what these teams wanted to invest in. Also remember when nasty streak was the meta and then it got patched before all the clubs were played?
4. Madden, as it stands right now, does NOT build, patch, adjust, or tweak the game for the MCS or competitive players. Competitive players are playing a game with millions of other players and are only a small piece of the pie. Salary cap was an awesome mode for comp, but was rarely played outside of the MCS. Again, do I wish SC and DC were in the game? Yeah, but it’s not the reality we live in.
5. MUT is expensive. I don’t really have much to add here. Just a mathematical fact.
6. The MCS will be around as long as it makes fiscal sense for EA to run it. Prize pools were cut, yes. EA went from an in house production team to outsourcing it and utilizing their relationship with Full Sail. All of these cost cutting measures were used to keep the MCS around. Trust me, EA could have cut the program at any point if they wanted to. The fact that even during an ownership transition the MCS is still around shows there is still value for the MCS to EA.
So, friends, as self appointed, unofficial, unaffiliated, and unpaid #CommisionerMizesko , what MCS changes would you like to see next year with the following constraints :
- MUT has to be a part of the MCS
- No new game modes are added
- No more than 8 players at a live event
- 6 live events max
- MUT doesn’t have a significant cost reduction next year. Let’s say it stays the exact same as this year for this exercise
- EA still runs the MCS, no third party takeover at the top
I want to hear format ideas, tournament structures, anything to make the MCS better within these boundaries above.
Love to hear your ideas in this thought exercise!
Jalen Hurts is fighting for his life with multiple deep vein thrombosis blood clots in his lungs and a blood clot that traveled from his leg to his lungs.
This is why Michael Robinson’s questioning of his motives for being held out of a game were unethical and dangerous.
Players don’t fake blood clots.
Let’s all pray for Jalen Hurts 🙏🏾
- Ran an esports program for 4 years
- Been a part of multiple iterations of the MCS
- Would listen to voices from the community and the company
- Trusted by EA to be a part of multiple different titles/broadcast
- Wants the MCS to stay strong for years and believes it can be the most approachable esport in the world to all age groups
- Wants to work for EA full time

Look mom, I'm a cover girl!
Honored to be featured by Sexual Health magazine this month. Never in a million years would I have ever guessed that somebody would put me on the cover.
It's thanks to all of you who've taken the time and interest to learn with me. Thank you!
Just read the craziest new development in AI…
REA = Reverse Engineer Anything.
It's a tool that lets AI agents pop the hood on any app or software, and tell you exactly how it works.
This use to be a specialized skill. Cyber security risk?
Secrets in software just got real expensive to keep. 👀
Today’s technologies are beyond unprecedented.
Hot showers took about 100 years to go from invention to normal. From a pump in 1767, to a water heater in 1868, and most homes didn't have one until the 1900s.
The stuff that changes everything usually looks unnecessary at first.
What are we ignoring right now that our grandkids will consider basic?
I finished the first weekend of ladders Ranked 1st +12 using a budget team. My team cost under 7 Million coins going up against people using the best team which cost 50 Million coins.
I feel like this is pretty solid proof that you can compete in Mcs without spending thousands of dollars. Also would like to note Henry is ranked 2nd on ladders also using a budget squad. It is scheme over team you just gotta know the right cards to use for your budget.
I recorded all of these games and will be posting a youtube video of my ladders on Tuesday and will leave a Mutgg to my team below if you guys would like to copy!

DIREXION'S BILAL LITTLE SAYS WE'RE IN A RATE-DRIVEN MARKET AND "IT'S NOT EVEN A QUESTION"
Bilal @BilalSLittle Global ETF Strategist at @DirexionLETFs sat down with our CEO Gav Blaxberg at Robinhood's $HOOD HOOD Summit to break down where he sees opportunity right now.
We covered a lot of ground:
- Why a 5.25% 10-year Treasury and 4% at the front end of the curve look attractive
- Why he'd take some profits in stocks and use a barbell approach
- Why Micron $MU is "priced to perfection" even after phenomenal results
- Why energy is the biggest hedge in the market right now
- Why he thinks retail traders are more sophisticated than institutions want to admit
His advice for the rest of the year is to stay patient. "Patient capital is smart capital."
MCS was peak from 17-19
I had $0 to my name in 2017 and was able to compete and make $100,000+ in a year, that was the dream
That itself is not possible anymore
Its now required to Spend Thousands of Dollars for a chance
MUT ruined MCS
EA became too money hungry, now the interest is gone
Lane Johnson DIDN’T QUIT.
He did the hardest thing a football player can do.
He chose to live.
After 14 years, 5 Pro Bowls, and 2 Super Bowl Rings for the Eagles, he retired to focus on his family and his mental health.
He said he deeply wanted to gut it out for one more year with his brothers, but when he looked at his life he knew that his family needed him more.
That is not weakness.
That is strength.
Your Mental health should be a PRIORITY.
Always choose your family and your mental health over the approval of others.
