This hurts my soul.
Gaudreau was more than just a player to me. He was a beacon of light. He was our great hope in a window where we had a real shot at glory... and now he's gone...
I'm not okay today... today we lost a legend.
Rest in Peace, Johnny...
It’s with great sadness, we mourn the tragic deaths of our friend Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew Gaudreau.
Our hearts are broken by this devastating loss. Johnny was and always will be a member of the Flames family and loved by all of Calgary.
Stan Bowman considering hiring Mike Babcock in Edmonton, while Carter Hart starts tonight in the Cup final. Always sad for hockey when people with questionable character keep getting opportunities ahead of others who have proven integrity.
🚨TRADE ALERT🚨 The Okotoks Oilers have acquired 2006-born forward Nolan DuPont from the Coquitlam Express.
The move comes as a completion of a previous trade that was made on February 4, 2026 which sent 2005-born forward, Brady Engelkes to Coquitlam for Future Considerations.
It would take far more than a month to honor the contributions of queer and transgender New Yorkers.
From the Cercle Hermaphroditos in 1895, the first trans advocacy group in the United States, to the drag balls of the Harlem Renaissance, to the Stonewall uprising, to the Lesbian Herstory Archives, to ACT UP!, founded in 1987 as queer people fought for their lives while the Reagan administration looked away, New York City's history has long been shaped by queer and trans New Yorkers.
To all our queer and trans neighbors: you deserve a City where you can afford to live safely, openly, and joyfully.
Happy Pride, New York City.
