This picture is from the Fancy Women Bike Ride in Kochi, India. I am so proud of Zeenath , who recently learned how to ride a bike and already leading a bike ride in her city to motivate more women.
Please keep on riding ladies, you never know who you might inspire.
The mission is clear: we want to create safer, greener and more bicycle-friendly cities, where the bike is an accessible and enjoyable transport option for everyone.
#fwbr is so much more than just a pedal ride. It is a movement that conveys a message of freedom, equality & sustainability.
Thousands of women put on colourful clothes & ride their bikes, defying stereotypes & showing the world that cycling is for everyone, regardless of gender.
On Sept. 17, cycling enthusiasts across the globe are gearing up for the 11th annual Fancy Women Bike Ride. Itβs not your ordinary Sunday morning ride; itβs a celebration of life, self-expression, and the joy of cycling.

Meet Zulha, last year she supported us on the side line and took photos of us as we were passing her.
This year, she is joining us π₯³π₯³π₯³ We had a little practice to regain her confidence since she hasnβt been on a bike for a while.

The more women ride their bikes in the urban space, the more women will feel encouraged to exercise that right.

This course is great for beginners. Youβll learn how to balance on a bike and pedal independently, some basic bike handling skills and heaps more. Itβs a great option for anyone that hasnβt ridden before or for anyone who hasnβt been on a bike in a while.
