@128bot_@SonicForcesSux@Chaoscontr11696@MoofusHasPassed So are loop de loops to Sonic, something nonexistent in Sonic Robo Blast 2, just admit it was built on an engine meant for first person shooters and trying to use it for a Sonic game is a square peg, round hole situation (and it shows)!
@128bot_ Not because they’re well designed but because the mechanics of the game make them harder than they need to be! Literally the same bullshit mentality that led to this game: https://t.co/mzdE1lKALA
Then why the hell are enemies even a part of the game in the first place? This just proves Sonic Robo Blast 2 isn’t a good example of a 3D Sonic game, literally the same mentality as avoid battles in this game and it’s considered the worst Paper Mario game!
@LennonBashforth@CoolBlued_@StonedSamus Sonic is literally a family friendly series literally the same target audience as Mario which itself has gotten progressively easier over the years, you forgot these are supposed to be games kids can be able to play!
I think we sometimes forget that Sonic games are designed for everyone to be able to pick up and play, so a bit of ease of use is always welcome. Is the homing attack overused? 100%! But that doesn’t mean it needs to be removed entirely lol
@128bot_@SonicForcesSux@Chaoscontr11696@MoofusHasPassed Sonic isn’t Zelda dude, and by your logic taking away the homing attack is the equivalent of taking away Ocarina of Time’s Z targeting, you’re making things needlessly more difficult to do in a 3D space by removing it, Mega Man Legends 1&2 prove it!
@GelBlob92@AezonVirtuous Because of Tails & Knuckles worked in a 3D game like they did in the classics they’d completely trivialize the entire level by skipping over the majority of it making any challenge or effort pointless!
@LennonBashforth@CoolBlued_@StonedSamus Getting good yet you fail to realize the get good mentality isn’t how modern video games work these days as casual players are given easy modes because they actually have a life unlike you, and hard games these days are limited to niche games like dark souls!
@AezonVirtuous@LennonBashforth@CoolBlued_@StonedSamus Removing the homing attack just makes it genuinely a pain in the ass to deal with enemies while going at high speeds in a 3D space, never design a 3D Sonic game dude, it would genuinely be ass to play!
@AezonVirtuous@LennonBashforth@CoolBlued_@StonedSamus You saying the franchise should’ve abandoned the spindash after Sonic 2 then too dude? Because that’s what you’re asking for with the homing attack, making the 3D games harder and less convenient especially for the casual player!
@KingGalactix@MasterofgamesB Both of them are kinda baked into the series either way, even the spin dash is kinda a automative gameplay move considering your giving yourself a burst of speed set to the direction you aim it at, the only part the player controls is the first half of it.
@AezonVirtuous@LennonBashforth@CoolBlued_@StonedSamus Its secondary purpose is to act as a safety net against certain enemies on the ground while going at high speeds, it basically also acts as having the jump attack on the ground hence why it can defeat most ground bound enemies.
@KingGalactix@MasterofgamesB News flash half the franchise is automated, try playing a level like Chemical Plant in Sonic 2 and you’ll see how much of the level is the game playing itself to show off the spectacle of speed! https://t.co/8rYYGngQSC
