#WIvBAN one more thing to add is the WIndies/Ban aren't a bad place to look for replacement players. Wouldn't shock me to see the likes of Seales, Athanaze, Mehidy get deals if they're needed. Serious talent #IPL2025 #IPLAuction

#WIvBAN but the big news out of the ODIs was Sherfane Rutherford which brought to light a very good record and possibly an underrated buy for #GT. I was a little surprised at the auction price tag but he did very well across the 3 games. Can he continue in the T20s/BBL?

#WIvBAN only Shamar involved across the Tests, where he didn't do much. Not sure how much room there is for him in the #LSG side but he is their only overseas option. Hopefully he'll be able to develop his all-round game

#NZvENG Brydon Carse, an #SRH base price purchase, is perhaps the most interesting. Zampa not guaranteed a start with Chahar there so a spot is up for grabs. Good pace and can hit down the order, maybe a very canny signing

#NZvEng could Jacob Bethell push Tim David for the finisher role at #RCB? Will be an interesting BBL for David, where Bethell will also make an appearance. A shame his left arm spin is so similar to Krunal's, his case might be stronger if he could complement differently

#NZvENG Harry Brook has found stunning form in this series, albeit getting a little lucky in the first test. He's a shoo-in as a starter for #DC but should he bat higher up the order? I had him at 4 but they could bring him in at 3, especially if openers bat through the powerplay

#NZvENG: a couple of poor tests for Conway and Ravindra who added very little between them in 2 defeats. Conway missing the 3rd but Ravindra again out cheaply. Interesting that Ravindra didn't bowl at all despite Phillips being the only other spinner #CSK #IPLAuction

The challenge is accepting 2nd inns Perth was the exception to the norm of a string of poor batting performances and understanding how to arrest it

After the first test there was plenty of chat about Australia being finished, Smith and Marnus done, bowlers too old, crisis time etc. But they deserved the right of reply and won convincingly

Bowlers look good on paper but they can all travel for runs and I worry about the death bowling with no real standout. Perhaps the big boundaries will help but I don't see the VFM here #IPLAuction #GT

Rashid is still there at 8, possibly the difference maker in this team. If they play Rawat then both Coetzee and Rabada can play alongside DSP Siraj and Prasidh in an expensive pace attack. Sai Kishore is the lead spin alternative if they want the foreign batter #IPLAuction #GT

One would assume the general plan will be for the top 3 to bat long and the rest to just whack it but it's certainly not as strong as other teams we've looked at #IPLAuction #GT
