Happy Thanksgiving! From reaching new PRs to keeping traditions strong, we're thankful for our community where triumphs are celebrated all year long. We're grateful for your support on and off the course, and we hope you all have a holiday filled with love, joy, and gratitude.
Shortages of nurses, mental health clinicians and other key workers are straining New Hampshire's health care system — and the lack of affordable housing is making it harder for some employers to staff up.

Medicaid is the primary source of health care for many people with disabilities, but it is so much more than just health care! It also funds home and community-based services, which help people with disabilities with everyday things like bathing, dressing, cooking, and more. 🧵⬇️
Medicaid includes children who receive private duty nursing so they can live at home instead of a hospital. Cuts to Medicaid would be devastating to these families!
There is currently not enough investment in Medicaid and the House of Reps just passed a bill that would result in millions of people losing coverage! Families like Jennifer’s rely on Medicaid for their loved ones with disabilities. #SaveMedicaid#CareCantWait

People ask me what the hardest part of my disability is - it's this. Trying to salvage the broken pieces of a body neglected and mistreated by those entrusted with it's care. Trying to make up for the egos of doctors. Trying to save whatever functionality I can. 8/9
To be pro-disability rights is to be pro-choice. The disability movement is about advancing one’s right to make their own choices about how their body engages with and moves through the world. A rejection of bodily autonomy anywhere is a rejection of bodily autonomy everywhere.
