“staying together for the kids” is ignorant. there is so much information out now showing how a loveless marriage impacts children, how witnessing fights between parents traumatizes children etc.
but because the “nuclear family” ideal people think it’s better to stay together🤡

1. A lot of people would be much better off single.
2. If we nurtured our friendships more, we wouldn’t focus so much on romantic relationships.
3. You don’t have to stay for the kids. In fact, you’re causing them more harm.
