@rickydoodly@JesseGranger_@ChantalMachabee Nah, just kind of marveling at your incredibly stupid take in much the same way one would watch monkeys at a zoo throwing poop at each other.
@SinBinVegas If I were king for a day anyone saying that we should trade Stastny so we can spend 13-14 million on a goalie tandem should lose the ability to have hockey takes. It'll be like Liar Liar, except instead of not being able to lie they wouldn't be able to talk about hockey.
@StripHockey@JesseGranger_ Do you guys think that this camp and by extension these playoffs will determine which goalie we keep in the offseason? In other words, are Lehner and Fleury currently auditioning for a job next year?
@choi_aj@RyanHockeyGuy Either way, PDB says all is good and that he'll be practicing soon so if that's the case it's all moot anyway, so I wont worry until theres something to worry about.
@choi_aj@RyanHockeyGuy Eh, I feel like that sentiment would be more true if we were talking about training camp before the start of the regular season. Obviously there's no competition between Dansk and Lehner. Maybe PDB wants to see what he has in Dansk should they lose Lehner to FA? (1/2)
@MikeFalater@SinBinVegas Yeah, Ryan the hockey guy just educated me on that. I still think it's strange he wouldn't be out there for the start of camp but what do I know.
@xexus_101@NHLJackManning True, I kind of forgot (read: intentionally erased from my memory) how the team bent over backwards to accommodate Cody Eakin, destroyer of offense over Tuch and the 6th overall pick.
@xexus_101@NHLJackManning but hey, rookie year and dealing with injuries, I'm willing to give the kid a break. Hopefully that vision and high hockey IQ translate better next year.
@xexus_101@NHLJackManning Obviously, his salary helps a lot and I agree that he's great on the pp. I think the Sinbin guys put it well when they say he's at his best when the game slows down for him. That being said, outside of the stink with 61/67 he didn't look very impressive at even strength.
