Did I pick a strange day to look back in on Twitter?😕
People I actually know talking about ‘immigrants’ & ‘refugees’ as though they aren’t human.
You know me, and I’m an immigrant to this country. My maternal grandparents came here as refugees.
What’s so hard to understand?
@TobyHadoke As you know, I’m not able to stand for more than a couple of minutes. So now I take the 06:26 down direct and travel back via Birmingham. It takes hours and involves two changes of train but it’s the only way to guarantee a seat. Ridiculous!
@TobyHadoke TfW on that route is no longer fit for purpose. I have to go MAN-HFD several times a week because of my dad’s health and on the return journey would have to stand as far as Shrewsbury or Crewe due to the two carriage problem and overcrowding because so many trains are cancelled
@Kim_Provise@karenhenthorna1@rxtheatre@RAWeiseArtist Oh same Kim! Roy Alexander Weise is my favourite director on the planet and yet I have not been able to see anything he has done so far at RX. Still hoping on this one but what can you do? x
Today is Hamilton’s 2nd Birthday and he’s been so looking forward to visiting Darlington.
A bit disappointed on arrival to discover that Darlington wasn’t another sun bear but after guzzling some ants he was enjoying himself again 💜🥰
@Awdacity Oh I don’t know and it was weeks ago now. I doubt it, because asparagus is something of a stationary green dude.
I once grew an asparagus fern but opted for a pot rather than a sock and anyway that was a fern.
When you go on Twitter about twice a year, the mixture of people and tweets the neglected algorithms decide to show you is at the unfathomable end of bizarre.
Friends, I’m sorry I missed your real news but someone somewhere apparently grew asparagus from their sock...🤷🏽♂️
