A couple weeks ago, I had a great conversation with @quontom7 about historical fiction, & now you can watch it (#IknowITalkTooFast) ! https://t.co/ZLGdQnwnIs
Reasons that an investigation cannot “reasonably be completed”? We’ve sent pictures/ video. @Allstate’s inspector took pictures, we never heard from him again. 3rd party company also took pics/video. We’ve done / provided everything asked of us & more. Where’s the accountability?
I miss my house, my home office & desk that didn’t make my left wrist numb. Miss my cats & dying dog. My kid is acting out & tearfully asks me daily when we will go home. None of us are sleeping - hard with a little kid & living in a space with 1 bed & a foldout couch. @Allstate
Has demonstrated almost inspiring apathy. I received an automated notice of receipt of my claim on 12/26.insurers in OR are required to complete claim investigations NLT 45 days after receiving claim notification.
Are vacations & failure to staff appropriately legitimate…
Never thought we’d make it this far. Because I stupidly thought maybe people at @Allstate did more than bathe their CEO in $18 mil bonuses & bitch to claimants about how many claims they have. Oh how wrong I was! What fresh hell will this week bring?
Hey just wanted to give a happy three-week-birthday shout-out to my @Allstate claim! One day early but who’s counting? Definitely not anyone at that company! Yet here we are, 25+ outgoing calls, 20(?) emails, 15 hotel days, & *zero* estimates later!
For anyone watching or curious, it’s now been 19! Days since I filed this claim. We have been at the hotel for 2 weeks. Other than a seemingly automated message asking me to send a DM (which I did & they’ve thus far ignored), @Allstate is still not even responding here.
We’ve only gotten 1 small reimbursement for some of our expenses. My income has suffered because it’s taken up so much time to beg @Allstate , whose insurance premiums I’ve paid for 10 years, to acknowledge our existence. But still 0 progress on our home.
Now what?!
I’m really not into complaining online, but @Allstate has put me in a tough spot. It’s been 17 days since I made my claim after a storm seriously damaged my home. Took 5 days to even get an adjuster & they only respond when I email over & over & call. It’s been 7 days since an
In sum: we waited almost a week in a house with srs damages from a storm. @Allstate sent our family to a hotel 2 weeks ago but has largely been silent since then unless I call & email & complain. Even then, no progress has been made on the repair, no estimates have been sent….
