I really don’t understand why this sort of thing surprises people. The Gospels are eye witness accounts. That’s why they were written, that’s why they were passed down and preserved. The idea that some unknown dudes made up some stories and everyone just went along with it is incredibly naive.

Kids be acting like this because they have no consequences at home. Kids aren’t even afraid to get their parents called anymore. Moms at the school arguing with the teachers. I feel like because some of you were abused (physically/mentally) as children you’re trying not to do it to your kids. But instead of finding a healthy way to discipline them y’all are letting them do whatever.

In honor of @nsuwolves_fb spring football starting March 22, I will post NSU football memories daily through the Wolves’ spring game (6 of 30).

Oct. 23, 1982: It looked like it was going to be a great day for NSU at Duluth. About 9½ minutes into the game, Shaun Wanner (12, below) returned a punt 85 yards to give NSU a 7-0 (Brad Larson PAT) lead. However, Duluth won 30-7.

Nov. 16, 1991: Brent Sheehan led the Wolves to a 35-33 win over Wayne State in the Metrodome by catching 13 passes — including two TDs, for a school record 261 yards. Other key contributors were Kip Kieso (threw four TDs and for 441 yards), Mark Costello (two TDs, including the game winner with 3:07 left), Fred Sahli (four sacks), Shawn Bauer (two interceptions, including the one that set up the game-winning drive) and Jeff Gruenhagen (recovered a fumble when Wayne was poised to score).

Oct. 21, 2000: After only three seasons including an injury-shortened senior season, two-time conference player of the year Tyrone Morgan (being honored with ball below by former NSU All-American back Jim Kretchman) played his last game for the Wolves and leaves as the all-time rusher with 4,816 yards from 1998-2000.

Sept. 4, 2021: With Covid-19 wiping out the 2020 season, @NSUFOOTBALL head coach Mike @NSUCoachSchmidt (below) had to wait 635 days before coaching his first game for the Wolves.
