crazy how the best shooter of the decade with the best art direction I've ever seen from a game can be struggling this much just because
a) the average gamer cannot handle losing at all
b) execs and online losers jerk off over steam charts, financial targets, and concurrent player numbers, all day long
I think I should be able to hit armchair commentators on the games industry with a bat, as a treat. How hard do you have to lose the plot to celebrate people losing their livelihoods? It doesn’t matter if you’re mad at a decision made from on high, you’re making it easy for them!
Just a warning:
You’re about to see a lot of the people responsible for first sowing seeds of division in the Bungie community (to boost their metrics) feign sadness and then further push those divisions in the pursuit of more engagement.
RT responsibly
I'd like to point out that @Destiny2Team is likely working overtime, doing crunch hours to get these bug fixes out, knowing their reward will likely be layoffs in a couple of weeks. Those devs are goddamn legends, I don't think we're appreciating them enough right now.
I keep saying @PlayStation wants a quiet death for the game. Taking it from one of the most prominent live service names to having zero support. They want to see it slowly breaking down with an active playerbase and hoping one day we'd shut up.
And they still wont say shit btw
To anyone spamming D3 content in the posts, by all means please continue.
But stop with the "I aint playing that" shite just because.
Void/breaker is a title by a solo dev who's worked hard to bring several major updates from early access to now (almost?) 1.0
It's worthy of your time, not your neglect on merit of other releases.
Do your research before dunkking on other titles PLEASE.
Already angry thinking about all the stories that we are NO DOUBT going to hear in the coming weeks from those affected by the layoffs.
"we pushed for X, they said no. we pushed for Y, they said no."
I GUARANTEE you this will be the tune, 0 doubt in my mind.

To all of our friends who dedicated the last years to providing us with literally life changing experiences, a simple “thank you” will never be enough.
You deserve so much better. I know you’ll all go on to do amazing things and I can’t wait to see you all succeed.
