@ThatKirbo I just went to a pretty sizable New Mexico tournament to play Avatar, and I had somehow had multiple people clock me as a (washed) UNI player, make friends, and ask me for games WITHOUT the game even being present

Every once in a while (usually April for some reason) when I start sleeping horribly, I've kept myself sane by getting up and dusting off Minecraft anytime I can tell that I won't fall back asleep

@falloutplays Not to add to the info firehose😅, but I've play D2 and Warframe solo and find Oberon still good and solidly fun

Base Kit tanks early and mid game, but his Health Orb synergy (passive + ult) can take you as far as you want. EXCELLENT for any obj. play (Excavation, Defense, etc.)

i like the phrases "it's not for me," "it's not my thing," and "i'm not the target audience" because they're the most concise way to express "this thing that you enjoy has merits but idgaf about it" without being aggressive

Especially when a game is well-made, I love how people have such different views with only some commonalities.

Like sure AAang or Toph are frustrating, yet I have ideas on how to fight them. But Zaheer makes me want to crash out HARD. Actions-without-consequences-ass character🤬

@RobotGuy405 If Engage was any indication, too many characters being likable could still backfire by splitting votes, meaning nobody from FW wins 🤔

16 units died by the end, which gives me a new FE story to tell! With no battle saves, I found myself choosing to let less important units stay dead instead of making myself suffer through extra full resets. 3-10 and 4-P are examples of pain points

I've played a lot of FE Radiant Dawn but somehow never did Hard Mode

Turns out consensus opinion was right that it's mostly just less fun. LITTLE more challenge but also way more frustrating to interact with

Best Miccy performance by far though! Really changed my opinion of her

The nuanced review:

The particularly painful combo was lacking weapon triangle and battle saves while having was less BExp gain AND higher BExp costs

Shakier hitrates on tougher enemies, and no easy way to combat the ensuing bad RNG (saves or unit builds beyond just Hit forges)

I think Avatar Legends is good because the way they selected the archetypes for the charqcters is fitting of the personality of both the charqcter and the type of person who would pick that character.

@atlasaur_ Sif being just a little cute (plus the Isa line about how he looks while chewing) made me start calling him "hampter"
