I officially committed to @UCSF’s MD/PhD program! This decision was so hard, but I am excited to attend UCSF and become a physician-scientist who develops equitable & accessible diagnostics for underserved communities. Cheers to becoming a Black woman #doubledoc!

Asian students have been convinced by white folks that Black students have been taking their spots in college. Now more white legacy and affluent students will get in and take those spots Asian students thought we were taking.
While tempted to focus rage on Clarence Thomas for colluding to destroy affirmative action after making his whole career from it, remember white women benefit most from affirmative action than any other group, and Amy Coney Barrett climbed that ladder then snatched it back too.
The Supreme Court's decision to strike down affirmative action, including in professional schools, like medical and nursing, will have detrimental consequences on Black health for generations to come. This is about life & death for us. Today, we are only 5% of physicians.
Exciting news! Huge congrats to @Augusta_UN, @Ayomideolife, & @NikeOyelola on launching @IHJM_’s THRVE (Transforming Health and Reimagining Values in Equity) — an incredible zine w/ themes of healing & community! Thank you for including my art!
