@RobDownenChron @jon_wilke Desensitize the dog by ignoring the lightning & thunder, and never ever coddle his fear response. Coddling only reaffirms that his fear is real.

Was so successful with my 2, they had no problems with severe storms in area. Didn't want to go in the house unless raining! Yikes!
