@RickD_GK@LynneB8898 People still act surprised when animals show empathy.
Meanwhile this cat already understood the assignment before most group projects do.
We really are blessed with pets, and could learn something from them.
This cat knows his buddy, dog, is sick and brings him his toy since he can't get up... that little tail wag. ❤️

Golden doodle and Knicks fan, Jameson, was gunned down by LAPD after he and his mother were celebrating the NBA Champions win.
Rest in Peace, sweet boy.
@nyknicks@NBA
LAPD bastards shot a golden doodle wearing a Knicks shirt in cold blood.
Then I learned today they shoot an estimated 10,000 a year. 😞
Anyone who's followed me for any length of time knows how much I love dogs.
I'm just sick to my stomach to learn this.
UPDATE—new video clearly shows LAPD fired at least 2 shots at dog.
And very recklessly.
Neighbor points out 2 bullet holes in balcony floor—at least 6 feet apart.
It's very lucky that no other residents of crowded condo complex were hit.
GoFundMe for funeral & legal expenses has now been established—link in video.
FTP: LAPD killed her dog. He was wearing his Knicks jersey.
His name was Jameson. A golden doodle. One of the sweetest, most gentle breeds alive.
A neighbor called a noise complaint. That's it.
20+ officers showed up. Then a helicopter. For a noise complaint in an apartment complex.
And they shot Jameson dead. In front of his owner. In front of her child.
No warning. No de-escalation. Nothing.
The media is barely covering this. No headlines. No outrage.
Like it never happened.
If this was your dog... your child watching... how would you feel?
Jameson deserved better. That little boy deserved better. His mama deserved better.
There’s a brave woman from Canada who saw a cougar dragging one of her baby goats and ran straight at it.
Her name is Gina Moore, and this happened on her farm in British Columbia, in western Canada.
The goat was a Nigerian dwarf goat, small enough that the cougar already had it in its jaws. Gina got close, shouted, and kicked at the cougar until it let go.
She later said she knew the cougar could turn on her, so whatever she did had to count.
The goat survived.
