@JagexAsh This would be a really big deal for those of us who have held untrimmed capes for years!
One more question: Could runescape save a variable for "first 99" moving forward just in case something like retrieving lost untrimmed capes becomes an option in the future?
@JagexAsh The achievement gallery cape rack automatically trims untrimmed skillcapes when you get a new 99. Could this behaviour be removed? It is very inconvenient, and I'd like to have my untrimmed cape somewhere besides death's coffer
@JagexSquid On the topic of new player experience I was wondering if you've seen this very interesting video on the topic. It's got a lot of interesting points I think are invaluable when talking about this

@JagexAsh Idea for instanced godwars bossrooms for ironmen: If you've already gotten a specific drop in item form before, it gets dropped in coins equal to alch value. But only in instanced rooms.
(idk if you can draw on data from collection log for such a system)
@JagexAsh Doesn't the client already supply the server with tons of pings for things like mouse movement?
This could also potentially only be limited to those in combat + with the feature enabled; Having to update + check a timestamp for ~300 players every few seconds doesnt seem too bad
@JagexAsh NPC you can show an untrimmed cape to who will "lock it in" in case you trim it by accident?
Odd how cosmetic quest items became retrievable, but one of the few things that truly make your account unique is kept janky and prone to a tiny mistake perma-deleting it
@JagexAsh I imagine a lot of people wouldn't care about getting their untrimmed cooking/ fletching cape back for a 10 mil fee, so if some players really wanna go out of their way to retrieve it they could go through some sort of manual process
Would be annoying, but skillcapes>quest items
@JagexAsh I know this sounds stupid but sometimes I get cold sweats over the idea of losing my untrimmed cape to something dumb.
If restoration of first capes were allowed, could old archives of hiscores be used to track such things (perhaps with some large fee attached)
@JagexSween Why do I get the feeling that this format would be popular even after everyone can work in the office again
Something about it seems so comfy
@JagexAsh This might sound silly to suggest doing DELIBERATELY, but... When expanding continents and adding new areas... Keep "allowing" those black void boxes for where "the rest of the game" can expand to. That potential in the backs of peoples' minds is important/ exciting
