Major Aurora platform upgrades are underway.
We’re strengthening the core of the platform with database upgrades, expanded chain APIs, and global infrastructure as we prepare node presence across Europe, North America, and Asia.
We’re also extending our IPFS infrastructure across all three continents, with separate geographic backups designed to improve availability, resilience, and protection of collection data.
Built for faster access. Built for redundancy. Built to scale globally.
Aurora by SAYC | Your collection, in a new light.
When filtering traits in Aurora, are you using trait details and rarity badges to narrow down your search, or is it more about checking trait combinations?
Sending a little reward over to @Bombartist for the amazing support and energy 🫡🔥
People who consistently show up, support, and help push the community forward deserve some love back.
Appreciate you ❤️
Thinking about handing off a supported collection in Aurora? Remember that moving contracts, artwork, and mint setups requires sender/recipient approvals.
When thinking about collection details, is it better to use editable contracts for metadata, or are static references sufficient for your initial vision?
Naked Apes is minted out 🤍
Thank you to everyone who minted, tested Aurora and stuck with us through the problems. I’m sorry the experience wasn’t as smooth as it should have been.
We found that multiple users’ mint transactions could collide while competing for the same available items, causing some attempts to fail. The traffic also exposed bottlenecks we needed to address.
We gathered valuable data, and fixes are being delivered. Thank you for your patience and for helping us make Aurora better.

For collections in Aurora, exploring the metadata controls is key. Does the owner's ability to set up royalty preferences offer flexibility across different contract types?
Public and free NFTs on Robinhood Chain. How crazy am I to even try that?
We saw an intentional flood of copied mint transactions: 138 attempts in two concentrated bursts. The mint also exposed real weaknesses in Aurora’s approval flow and how the system handles load.
We need to stress test this thing, and today certainly did that. But that doesn’t make the failed attempts and waiting any less frustrating. I’m sorry for that.
I now have a much clearer picture of what needs to change: handling competing mints, preventing outdated approvals, and keeping the site responsive under pressure.
The emergency patches are in. Now I’m going to work through the remaining changes properly, with testing and a clear plan. Not in panic mode during a live mint.
Thanks to everyone who stuck with it. Aurora is going to learn from this, and so am I.
