Firstly, there were 1,838 new locally acquired cases and 7 deaths. There are 777 people in hospital of which 151 are in ICU and 94 are on a ventilator. 88% of 16+ has had their first dose and 65% of 16+ has had their second dose.

-Hospitality can serve 50 fully vaccinated people outside and 20 fully vaccinated people inside
-Hairdressers will open for 5 fully vaccinated customers at a time

On the advice of the Chief Health Officer, from 11:59pm 19th October, fully vaccinated people in a NSW red zone will no longer need to quarantine for 14 days. They require a test within 72 hours of arriving. Those who are still unvaccinated will need to quarantine for 14 days.
