.@AusMHThinkTank welcomes this morning's announcement by @AustralianLabor that they, if re-elected, will invest $1 billion into mental health and call for the opposition to match the funding if elected.
These pledged investments align with recommendations proposed in our recent Call to Action, addressing economic barriers to mental health treatment, improving access to services for young people, and increased training placements for mental health professionals and peer workers.
The report takes stock of progress made over the last two years against original recommendations proposed in 2022, and puts forward new recommendations based on the latest evidence.
