The Aus/NZ Smash Ult Senate is a collection of top players/TO's. A place for collaboration among all of Aus/NZ, with the goal of promoting the scene as a whole.
Following the trial period of the last few months, the Australian unified ruleset will be officially used for all future Australian majors, including #BAM12. Additionally, all scenes bar Sydney will be running the unified ruleset at monthlies and weeklies.
Conclusion: Although the percentage of participants supporting the ban has decreased from the initial poll conducted a year ago (from 70% to 60%), there is still not a strong enough sentiment to lift the ban. Therefore, the Steve ban will continue to be upheld.
While some states, such as Victoria (VIC) and Western Australia (WA), had close votes, New South Wales (NSW) and Queensland (QLD) showed strong support for the ban. Overall, there was a difference of 37 votes in favor of the ban, with 50 votes being indifferent.
Poll Results: A total of 363 participants from all states voted in this poll. Upon analysing the raw data, we found that the majority of states favoured maintaining the ban, with the exceptions of South Australia (SA) and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
From May 20th to May 27th, the tournament organizers (TOs) of Ausmash conducted a re-evaluation poll regarding the ban on the character Steve. Based on the results, the TOs have collectively agreed to uphold the Steve ban for the foreseeable future.
Announcing the Unified Stagelist V2; the stagelist agreed upon by the TOs of all the State communities in Australia. Majors will all run this list from today, and we encourage all locals to do the same for consistency across all our scenes.

Kizzabam was permanently banned on 20/01/2020 for sexual assault. This information was originally meant to be made public by past TOs closer to the time it happened, but was not announced as planned, so we are amending this by announcing it today.
