While we were in Covid shutdown we had a furry friend come and visit 🐶
Heidi the Aussie Shepard, belongs to one of our staff members who bought her out for a little visit! She found her favorite tank, Panzer IV E, in the German section of the Museum! 💛
💥PZ IV J UPDATE💥
What a difference some abrasive blasting and paint can make, turning this once rusty hulk into a factory new looking vehicle! 🛠
This running PZ IV J along with our Stug IV will be making its debut at AusArmourfest 2020, accompanied by our PZ IV D and PZ IV G
Our Panther is officially en route to sunny Cairns!! 🏝
It was a teary good bye for everyone at Axis Track Services especially for Nick and Phil who have spent the last 4+ years restoring this big cat!
They have done an incredible job and we will be so proud to display it! 🤗
@Ash007YT You definitely will have to visit! We are well worth the trip! South Gippsland Tank Adventures are our best buddies! Great team down there running things!
@exkiwiforces Have a look on our Facebook page as we have been documenting the process on previous posts! Right from the beginning when we purchased the vehicle until now.
@exkiwiforces We purchased the Panther from a private collector in the UK and the restoration took 4+ years! We will have to ask the twins if they have an estimate on how many hours it took to build!
Here is a mono version of one of the snaps of the @Ausarmour Panther Ausf A I took earlier this month. The tank looks stunning. Compare it to ten years ago when I snapped it at the Hop Farm. It is a long way from Suffolk to Aus and I doubt I'll see it again.
Checkout some great shots of our Panther taken by @mbarnesn16 for @WarHistoryOL! Our Panther is about to hit the water for its journey to Cairns and we cannot wait for it to arrive!
