People are clearly blowing things out of proportion. Alexia is getting older, and there are plenty of younger stars competing for her position. As for Ona, you could offer her heaven and earth, and she would probably still choose living with Lucy.
Salma scored two goals in the final and suddenly people are acting like she deserves the same treatment as Aitana and Alexia, despite spending half of the season in the hospital.
And regarding Patri, I watched her interview. She was being completely professional. People are simply twisting her words to create unnecessary drama.
I don’t think the reason they aren’t signing any players is FFP. They share the same budget with the men’s section, and a lot of high-salary players have already left from both sections. If the men’s team is willing to pay €150M for a player and believes they can register him, that’s a clear indication that there is still room within the budget. They’re simply not prioritizing it.
Imagine Esmé gets injured on a Champions League night—suddenly we’re relying on a 17-year-old to fill the gap. The same issue exists at right-back. At some point, you have to address these squad weaknesses before they become a crisis.
@LASHYBILLS These are the same people who would make me march in the streets of New York under the banner of “Black Lives Matter,” yet they don’t even seem to value their own lives.
One thing I've learned building a WooCommerce performance tool:
A slow request isn't necessarily a slow store.
If the median checkout request is 800ms but the P95 is 4s, most customers are fine — but some are having a very different experience.
That's why I stopped looking at averages alone.
The distribution tells a much better story.

For WooCommerce store owners whose checkout or cart feels slow and who can't tell which plugin is causing it.
It sits on real shopper sessions (not synthetic PageSpeed runs) and splits timing by funnel phase — product, cart, checkout — then attributes the slow part to a specific plugin or script. After you change something, it re-measures and tells you whether it actually helped, including when it didn't.
I agree with this. The data layer is usually where I'd start too, especially when the slowdown is coming from something running repeatedly rather than the page itself.
One thing I've been looking at lately is how to distinguish a consistently slow checkout from intermittent spikes. Do you usually rely on Query Monitor for that, or do you collect data across multiple real checkout requests?
I've been building a WooCommerce performance tool, and one thing has become painfully obvious:
“Your site is slow” isn't a diagnosis.
A product page can be fast while checkout is slow.
A checkout can have a fast server response while JavaScript blocks the browser.
A cart can be fast most of the time and still have serious spikes.
A plugin can look suspicious without actually being the cause.
The real challenge isn't measuring what's slow.
It's proving why.
@RonaldMendozaP8@justmapileon2 I don't think that's what the interviewer wants to hear. All they really want to hear is “how competitive the league is.” That one line makes them feel good.
@pinatellas To be honest no true barca fan bad mouth, people like you just create conspiracy for no reason. Someone like Alexia is so precious to barca and the fans. Right now she is no longer barca player, why are you people trying so hard to divide this team.
@putellassegura It's so shameful that people that called themselves barca fans are busy here trying to divide the club. Few players has said same thing Aitana said, none of you brought out this altitude.
@SkySportsWSL More than half of players lcl signed are over 30yrs,, most of them have achieved all in their previous clubs. This wsl hype is getting frustrating, at the highest level (uwcl) they are just flopping. Chelsea 5 straight league, 0uwcl.
@Advitiya2907@karlaaaa18_ If the WSL is truly the superior league, its clubs should consistently prove it in European competitions, not just dominate domestically. Being competitive within England doesn't automatically make it the best league in the world. Come and compete where it matters.
