It does. Eventually, all our games will be complete slop, full of paywalls, game prices will continue to sky rocket, even without the cost to manufacture the disks and packaging.

Games used to be made with pride. Now they're made for profit and propaganda.

I say the modding community cracks the new systems. Allow us to use disks. Dev companies like you can make the games.

Preserving hard copies. Bringing back cases, with manuals, art and creating hard copy game guides would be incredible.

Completely doable. Just look at Dreamcast. Devs continued to make games for that system for several years. In fact they may still be doing it now.

Gamers can make it happen.

The only hurtle. The giants. Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and others will always stand in the way and sue the shit out of people.

Lamest, most overused, feckless conclusion ever. It's a total weak ass copout. If it's because men hate women, then why on earth are there so many successful franchises with female leads dating back decades?

Aliens. One of my all-time favorite films. Sigourney Weaver made that film what it was.

Resident Evil. Both the movies and the games. Without Milla Jovovich, it just wouldn't be the same. Hell, 5th Element kicked ass.

Captain Marvel: Grossed over 1.3 Billion. The first remains the highest grossing (for a reason)

Wonder Woman: 991 million.

Barbie: 1.45 billion.

Underworld: The films grossed over 500 million.

What did they have in common? They were better than Supergirl. They didn't talk shit to their audience and they didn't attempt to destroy masculinity.

Supergirl talks shit to their audience, then blames it's failure on the audience. Yeah, fucking brilliant.

Furthermore, they made Supergirl obnoxious as hell. She acted like a 50 year old war veteran at the age of 20. Completely unrealistic.

Zero heros arc. All the male characters are made to look weak while she's perfect.

The audience is sick of this shit and no amount of showing a cute dog is going to fix it.

Female empowerment does not have to mean the destruction of masculinity.

That's the difference. Movies now, push the same tired agenda. An agenda that does not represent the values of 90% of your potential audience.

The audience now sees the patterns. Hell, many movies will fail regardless of the lead. Because we're sick of Hollywood.

Movies like "The Furious" will do great. Two men fight to save their daughters from a sex trafficking ring. They enter the building, kill everyone and save the two girls.

Why would that movie do well?

Because it's exactly what the audience wants.

It's relatable (I'd do the same thing), it fits most people's values (sex trafficking is wrong and the bastards must pay) saving lives (most everyone wants to see two women saved from something awful)

The question is, once they have their success, will the troglodytes come to take over? It's happened throughout Hollywood. It's happening throughout the gaming industry. Hence, the reason the first game in the series is great, then the sequels take tremendous shits all over gamers.

As we've seen. They continue to, then they'll make yet another title. Devs that get fired, get promoted on some other team elsewhere.

Money has been getting funneled into these companies while they're bleeding out.

I'm noticing a shift though. I'm wondering if maybe, all their back up funds from various organizations have started to dry up.

In the last few years, dev teams have banned together, along with journalists. All of them circle jerking and putting each other on their personal party lists.

Lately though. They don't seem to have the same protection. Layoffs and shutdowns galore.

I'd love to see most AAA studios go down. However, I can't help but wonder if it's intentional.

Fewer studios means less competition. It also means, "they will have more control" over the content we consume.

It's happened in every last industry throughout history.

Gaming has now hit the big-time.

We've got to continue showing support to the small guys and keep throwing shit at AAA studios.

Doesn't matter if there's a connection. Ideaology is killing the gaming industry. At this point, absolutely no one has an argument that can stand up to that statement.

Good, fun games=Profit and copies sold (Not player count)

Games with ideaology slop crammed down gamers throats= Failure, layoffs and studios shutting down.

There's also a huge distinction. Games like Baldur's Gate 3, which is a great game, was successful in large part, because it gave gamers a choice.

Freedom of choice matters.

Games that preach are shit. The gamers are heavily male dominant.

Fact: They don't want ideaology shit either.

So, make quality games that are fun to play. Period.

Games are about escaping this reality. Not being constantly reminded of what pronoun you prefer, or how many letters we need to memorize for you.

I've had immigrants come to my door demanding money. They attempted to break in and I almost took all three out.

Not all are like this, but what you have is a complete cultural disconnect. You can't simply mix culture instantaneously.

You will have violence. You will have increased crime.

They often have no respect for human decency and they'll take what they want. Including someone's life.

When something like this happens, you'll wish you had someone like me around to protect you.

In addition, the entire conversation took place on X. Elon made the offer making one hard demand. To display where every single dollar went. To make it completely transparent for all to see. Full display on the Internet.

They turned it down more than once, because they're the corrupt elites that take your money and do with it as they please. All while lying to your face with a smile.

You're getting screwed and you're asking for more. You'll fight for the very people that cause you the most harm.

Word is, the current administration and their military seized control of these. If so, I doubt they will shut them down, but instead intend to use them against the elites that have traditionally used them for decades.

It would certainly give them plenty of leverage in negotiations. Who knows what the truth really is.

People are burnt out on being lectured. Just shut your mouth and make an entertaining film, without subliminal messages and the destruction of masculinity. It's fine to have a strong female lead, but not if it means making every male look weak and pathetic.

On top of that, Hollywood loves doing two things. Talking shit about their audience, then blaming the films failure on the very people they insulted.

They're no longer invincible. Their bubbles have popped and their ivory tower of perfection has been destroyed.

People see the patterns, and they're tired of it. In fact, most women aren't showing up either. In know my wife is tired of the BS messaging and doesn't support it.
