So this is 40… 🎉 What a decade it’s been—full of adventures, achievements, challenges and unforgettable memories.
I’m proud to have completed my Master’s and After 2½ tough years with Ross River virus, I’m finally getting back to exercise.
I’m grateful for everything & $UFD
@VJLvEekhout@ufdpete Back down under… you definitely must travel north with Dusty to the beaches of the Sunshine Coast where he relaxes after his travels and swims with the narwhals (off the coast right now actually).
@VJLvEekhout My homeland $UFD the Maori name for New Zealand is Aotearoa meaning Land of the long white cloud. I’m blessed to be a New Zealander and now also a citizen of Australia.
@VJLvEekhout In this photo my daughter was asking to do it. It was a bit windy that day and I was a chicken so we didn’t. Will go back and she can do it with her Dad and I’ll take the photos from below 😆
Get the ferry we were on to Manly too and that’s an adventure.
Hey $UFD dusters… it’s my 40th Birthday tomorrow (11th). As it’s DCA Saturday I’d love you to join in my birthday celebrations and feast on some yummy $UFD Beans 🫘
Please consider eating 40, 400, 4000, 40,000 or more!
@JackResilient Yeah winter definitely equals effort that’s not rewarding. Nothing like reading a book at the beach, late evening walks and BBQ’s with friends year round.
Dazza just has to deal with the snakes 🐍 for me!
@JackResilient And this is my winter 🤣
I literally won’t be able to get out of bed at 6am when it’s 9 degrees. In saying that we have no heaters on and just close the windows to make the house warm 😉
@JackResilient Haha yes and after living in Australia I’m very soft. Anything less than 20C and I’m looking like I live in the North Pole 🤣
I love throwing on a dress everyday and sunshine ☀️so $UFD island sounds ideal for me.
@JackResilient This is also summer holidays from school from start December until end January. So it’s a great time of year with BBQ’s and most people have a pool too.
@JackResilient Yes- in Australia (southern hemisphere) it’s middle of summer. So where I live it’s 30-35 degrees and Christmas is by the pool or the beach. Eating, drinking, swimming, boating etc.
