In 2025, the ANA surveyed its members, who are highly experienced nuclear professionals, to gauge 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯 on nuclear energy deployment in Australia.

Canada (32%), France (22%), and South Korea (23%) stand out as leading examples to follow.

Nuclear investments pay off beyond the reactor itself, like how ITER boosted HTS magnet production.

This is supported by the fact that Australia is 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 to encompass a naval nuclear propulsion program, so adding a framework for electricity from nuclear power would in our capabilities.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝘂𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.
