@HanzIHWI @J_ROOST @NintendoAmerica I actually really liked having the tactician avatar in the Blazing Blades on GBA. It was my first experience with the characters looking right at the screen and speaking as if they were talking to ME. I remember loving that as a kid!

@Nu_Merick @SlashBryz @rjswzr @Stealth40k TOTK's physics is built off of the Havok engine's bones. Based on their appearance at the developer conference showing off their physics engine. I don't know if they still need to pay licensing at that point since it's so evolved beyond the default programming.

@Thatonegum @PIXGamer66 @CidMaik @3almwrestling @Stealth40k I'm not a fps snob, but I will say, Metroid Prime 4 opened my eyes to 120fps. Panning the camera left to right suddenly felt smooth as butter. My eyes are sensitive though, so I'm in the minority where frame tearing/stuttering from lower fps causes eye strain.

Me acabo de enterar de que la sesión de autógrafos de Japan Expo funcionaba con un sistema de entradas.

Hay algo de lo que me arrepiento desde hace más de 20 años. Fue cuando me invitaron como invitado extranjero a un evento en un país donde, por aquel entonces, celebrar una feria de videojuegos era algo realmente poco habitual. (¡De hecho, aquel evento se celebraba nada menos que dentro de un colegio!)

Durante la sesión de autógrafos, todo el mundo llevaba su propio cuaderno para que se lo firmaran. Pero vi cómo el personal local sacaba de la fila a dos niños de primaria simplemente porque no llevaban ninguno.

Les pedí que, por favor, los llamaran para que volvieran, pero como estábamos en una región de habla rusa, no conseguí hacerme entender. Solo pude ver cómo aquellos niños bajaban las escaleras y se marchaban.

Pensé: “Seguro que esto se convirtió en un recuerdo muy triste para ellos…”.

Desde entonces, aquello se ha quedado conmigo como una especie de pequeño trauma. Incluso hoy, solo con recordarlo, sigo sintiendo arrepentimiento.

Por eso, desde entonces, siempre que alguien quiere mi autógrafo, procuro firmar mientras no tenga una verdadera urgencia que me obligue a marcharme.
